They say nature lowers stress in just 15 minutes, but throw in some bubbly and views like this, and you’re basically living the wellness dream. Honestly, why isn’t this covered by health insurance?! 👀

As a lifelong horse lover, there is nothing quite like exploring beautiful vineyards from the saddle, especially with the cutest four-legged companion (who also enjoys a nibble of fresh grape leaves btw)! 🐎🍇 And ending the day with a glass of wine from those very vines makes it all the more magical!🍷🥹

Aaaand … if you’re drawn to alpine lakes, rugged shores, and the thrill of spotting wildlife (yes, even bears 🐻), then iconic Lake Tahoe should definitely be on your list!

As North America’s largest alpine lake, Tahoe is filled with stunning views and trails, but Emerald Bay-just a short drive from South Lake Tahoe-is truly a photogenic gem and a photographer’s paradise! 📸

It’s the kind of place where you find yourself saying, ‘no way this is real,’ and packing extra SD cards for all the photos! 🌝

What’s a California road trip without a visit to the iconic Yosemite National Park?! 🌳

It’s even better when, after a full day of spotting deer, chipmunks, and squirrels, you can unwind by soaking in the soft pink hues of sunset from the terrace of your very own cozy cabin or warm up by a massive wood-burning fireplace! 🪵

Or if you’re like me, you might spend some time trying to spot turkeys roaming around the ranch! 🦃 Something this city kid had never seen in the wild before, and it was definitely a highlight for me! 🤭

📍 @firefallranch is only a short drive from Yosemite National Park, so it’s the perfect place to stay if you’re looking to explore the park. You’ll be surrounded by beautiful pine forests and wildlife at every step! 🦌

🐤 Ever dreamt of a real-life Disney moment? In Sweden, friendly yellow birdies are happy to greet you in exchange for some seeds or nuts. During the winter months, when food is scarce, these cute feathered balls are always on the lookout for a snack. All you need to do is rustle a bag of seeds, and they’ll flock to you for the perfect fairytale moment!

🗓️ As I get ready for my upcoming trip to California, I can’t help but feel a little nostalgic about my incredible ocean moments from past Septembers:

The ocean is my happy place and the perfect reset button. There is something about the crashing waves that quiets the noise and really grounds you. Or maybe it’s just me living far from the ocean and feeling extra dramatic about it! 🤭

Who else loves pastel-colored skies and serene, uncrowded viewpoints to watch marvelous sunsets in peace? 🙋‍♀️ Preferably with a good wine and a cozy blanket!

If you’re nodding along, you probably know the struggle—finding such ideal spots isn’t easy! 🗺️

Most of the time, sunset viewpoints are either overcrowded, where you end up feeling more like a sardine than a sunset chaser, or they’re so hidden and hard to reach that they’re impossible to fit into a busy travel schedule.

Who needs a time machine when you have memories like these? I may have missed the lavender season this year, but the sights and scents of last year’s Tuscan fields are still fresh in my mind. There is something really special about waking up to the soft hum of bumblebees, the fragrance of blooming flowers, and Tuscany’s endless beauty right outside your window 🐝

Do you have a go-to blooming field, or is there one that’s still on your travel wish list? I’m still on the hunt to find a sprawling poppy field, but I’ve yet to find the perfect one! 🥹

Did you know horses have nearly 360-degree vision? 👀 This might explain why these majestic animals always know how to find the most stunning views! 🐎

And Cascais is no exception-having spent half my life with horses, I can truly say that riding along the Atlantic coast here is one of the most unforgettable trails I’ve ever experienced. With the refreshing ocean breeze, idyllic sceneries all around and the soothing rhythm of hooves on the trail, it’s easy to understand why they say the best view is from the back of a horse. And I couldn’t agree more, especially when it brings such peace and joy ✨

If soul animals are a thing, mine is definitely a horse! Though, I have to admit, there is a bit (okay, quite a lot) of sloth in me too-because let’s be real, nothing beats a good nap! 🦥🤭

How adorable is that cute pup sitting by the window, gazing out at the tranquil scenery with a look of pure contentment?🥹

And those roosters freely strolling around a park right in the city center?!🐓 For someone raised in a big urban city, used to all the chaos and hustle, seeing such ‘ordinary’ moments feels remarkably special and almost surreal!

🛫 Whenever I visit a new place, my brain automatically sorts it into two folders: ‘I could live here’ and ‘nice place, but just visiting’ 😁 There’s also a third folder labeled ‘never in a million years,’ but that one’s pretty rare 🤭

➳ Well, Cascais is definitely the ‘I could live here’ kind of place! It perfectly balances the best of both worlds:

① It’s only a quick hop from Lisbon, so you can enjoy the city’s vibrant buzz whenever you want it 🚋

❷ Yet, when it’s time to unwind, you can retreat to the serene and quaint coastal atmosphere that makes Cascais so special🐬
